Basketball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 31st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stanley-Boyd Orioles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-27 back in December of 2024.

Thorp's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Stanley-Boyd, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Thorp has already played their next game, a 55-35 loss against Spencer on the 4th. As for Stanley-Boyd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-28 defeat against Marathon on the 3rd.
