South San Antonio hasn't had much luck against Southwest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The South San Antonio Bobcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Southwest Dragons at 7:15 p.m.

South San Antonio is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 5-2 to McCollum.

Meanwhile, Southwest put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over Southside. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Southside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sebastian Huerta (2), Alfredo Plascencia (2), Santiago Delgadillo, and Caleb Barajas.

South San Antonio's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Southwest, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
