Basketball Recap: Clements Takes a Loss

Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a hard 58-43 fall against the Rogers Pirates. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Rogers, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Clements and Rogers could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Clements (ranked 397th) will meet East Limestone (ranked 47th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Rogers will challenge Lauderdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 158 places (264 vs. 106).
