Soccer Game Preview: Meadowcreek vs. Grayson

The Meadowcreek Mustangs will head out to face off against the Grayson Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Meadowcreek sitting on four straight victories and Grayson on ten.

Meadowcreek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let North Atlanta get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Meadowcreek might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

They hit North Atlanta with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alejandro Lendeborg, Bryan Rojo, and Nathan Flores.

Meanwhile, Grayson's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Hillgrove 1-0. Given Grayson's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Hillgrove are ranked 85th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grayson's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine matchups. As for Meadowcreek, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
