Football Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Colfax's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Kaylee Fore threw for 120 yards on 14 of 20 attempts. Sophia Smiley was her top target, picking up 69 receiving yards.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Park, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Colfax didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-13 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 26th. As for West Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 45-0 victory against Woodcreek on the 28th.
