Volleyball Recap: West Orange Beats Tournament Opponent for Their Fourth Straight Win

West Orange waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 2-0.

West Orange easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14.

Jeremiah Cadet paced West Orange's offense, picking up eight kills. Cadet got some help from Carnegie Pierre and his 19 assists. Pierre also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Leonardo McCormick, racking up four apiece.

West Orange's win bumped their record up to 6-3.

The future could be bright for both West Orange and Tournament Opponent: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Mountaineers will try to hand Belleville their third-straight loss when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tournament Opponent will look to extend Willowbrook's five-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
