Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Bluejays vs. Superior Wildcats
Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Superior Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Superior can attribute much of their success to Faith Butler, who had five digs and a block. Butler is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 11 or more in the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.
Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Superior, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Ravenna is on the road again on Saturday to play Meridian at 11:00 a.m. As for Superior, they will challenge Fillmore Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Superior is facing Fillmore Central at the right time seeing as Fillmore Central is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
