Kickapoo is a perfect 10-0 against Lebanon since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chiefs will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Kickapoo didn't have quite enough to beat Republic and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Kickapoo sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 7-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Lebanon came up short against Waynesville on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Lebanon had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Kickapoo will have to contain Player #2 as she made an impact in Lebanon's last game. She had 26 digs and two aces.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 8-14-1. As for Kickapoo, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.

Kickapoo was able to grind out a solid win over Lebanon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
