DeSoto came out on top against Waxahachie on Friday thanks in part to Legend Howell's efforts. Howell threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns. The effort also marked the most passer rating (139.6) he has had since back in November of 2024.

Howell and DeSoto will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Duncanville at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. Howell will face off against Maximus The Great Denson, the Panthers and Pantherettes' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
