Baseball Game Preview: Anderson Prep Academy Jets vs. Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils

The Anderson Prep Academy Jets will face off against the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Anderson Prep Academy and six for Indianapolis Shortridge.

On Monday, Anderson Prep Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Indiana School for the Deaf and fell 5-4.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Indianapolis Shortridge and Seton Catholic had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Blue Devils came up short against the Cardinals on Saturday, falling 22-7.

Jackson McKinney made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Anderson Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Anderson Prep Academy's way against Indianapolis Shortridge in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Anderson Prep Academy made off with an 11-5 win. Will the Jets repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
