Recap: Gaither Cowboys vs. Jefferson Dragons
The Gaither Cowboys posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 71-41 victory over Jefferson on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gaither.
Gaither's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayce Humphries, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc Fransberg, who scored 14 points.
Gaither is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-13.
Gaither will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chamberlain at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. Chamberlain is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Middleton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Middleton has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 6.
