Greenwood won the last time they faced Russellville and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 50-13 win over the Cyclones. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Cyclones are ranked 61st).

Kane Archer produced another solid performance rushing for 160 yards and four scores on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 235 yards and one touchdown while completing 81.5% of his passes. Those 160 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Brayden Renick did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 122 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Greenwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Greenwood's record now sits at 5-0. As for Russellville, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
