Recap: Quincy Blue Devils vs. Sterling Golden Warriors

The Quincy Blue Devils can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They put the hurt on Sterling with a sharp 57-33 victory. The win was familiar territory for Quincy who now have five in a row.

Quincy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Myley Longcor out in front who scored 17 points. Longcor has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Fohey, who scored 13 points along with five blocks.

Quincy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Sterling, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy will take on Quincy Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quincy Notre Dame will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive. As for Sterling, they will head out on the road to face off against East Moline United at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Moline United presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sterling in Illinois (East Moline United is ranked 46th, while Sterling is ranked 162nd).
