Grant Park won the last time they faced Iroquois West and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Dragons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Raiders.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Taylor Panozzo paced Grant Park's offense, picking up eight kills. Panozzo got some help from Emily Voight and her ten assists. Voight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Grant Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Iroquois West, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Grant Park will take on Donovan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Iroquois West, they will host Clifton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
