Basketball Game Preview: Grinnell Tigers vs. Creston Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Grinnell Tigers and the Creston Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Grinnell took on Benton last Friday. Grinnell took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Benton.

Meanwhile, Creston came up short against Glenwood last Friday, falling 80-54.

Creston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grinnell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Grinnell didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Creston when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grinnell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
