Victory Christian Academy piles up the points against Zephyrhills Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Tampa Christian Academy, the Victory Christian Academy Storm were happy to have found some success on Monday. They breezed by Zephyrhills Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 71-27. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Victory Christian Academy's 15-point performance the contest before.

It was another big night for Bianca Barroso, who scored 16 points along with 8 steals and 5 assists. Barroso is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Myah Colon-Sanchez was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will take on Bartow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Patel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
