Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Enosburg Falls' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Enosburg Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 35-26 to the Middlebury Tigers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Enosburg Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Middlebury, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Enosburg Falls will head out on the road to take on Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Hazen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. Middlebury has already played their next contest (against Colchester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
