It was a good run, but Trinity Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Clay Center Tigers.

Dominique Schellenger paced Trinity Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Schellenger got some help from Krista Eklund and her 12 assists.

Trinity Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Clay Center, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-2.

Looking ahead, Trinity Academy will be playing at home against Cheney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay Center, they will head out to square off against Concordia at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Panthers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
