Baseball Game Preview: Harrison Panthers vs. Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs

The Harrison Panthers will face off against the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Harrison fell victim to George Washington and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 11-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Harrison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Archuleta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Pueblo Centennial might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was La Junta who claimed the real prize. The Bulldogs lost 20-8 to the Tigers.

Robert Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Chaz Brooks was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Pueblo Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Harrison's way against Pueblo Centennial in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Harrison made off with an 18-11 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
