Basketball Recap: Fallston's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against North East last Thursday, Fallston came back down to earth. The Fallston Cougars fell to the Bohemia Manor Eagles 66-61. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Fallston still got an impressive performance from Oliver Rueckert, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Those 24 points gave Rueckert a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John Wirth, who went 5 for 9 en route to 13 points.

Fallston's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 10-7. As for Bohemia Manor, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
