Basketball Recap: Elmwood Comes Up Short

Elmwood lost against Patrick Henry back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Elmwood Royals were dealt a 43-14 loss at the hands of the Patrick Henry Patriots.

Elmwood dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Patrick Henry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elmwood will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ada at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Patrick Henry, they will be playing at home against Edon at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
