They were the victim of a tough 75-50 loss at the hands of Kennedy. Oxford has not had much luck with Kennedy recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Terrance Morrison, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 2 assists. Damian Elliott was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Oxford's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
