Basketball Recap: Atlantic Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Atlantic Collegiate Academy lost against Oceanside Collegiate Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Armada fell 58-53 to the Landsharks. The Armada have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was River Erickson, who shot 60% from the field en route to 17 points along with five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Abe Davinroy, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Atlantic Collegiate Academy will venture away from home to take on Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Armada their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Porter-Gaud at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
