Volleyball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the New Albany Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Salem took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-18.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for New Albany, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Salem will head out to face off against Brownstown Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Albany, they will venture away from home to take on Trinity Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
