Basketball Recap: Evart's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Evart extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Aidan Anderson. The Evart Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 57-38 win over the Lake City Trojans on Wednesday thanks in part to Anderson, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Vanderlinde, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Vanderlinde is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Evart's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lake City, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.

Evart will venture away from home to take on Manton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake City, they will host Houghton Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
