Basketball Game Preview: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Timberline Wolves

The Ridgevue Warhawks will take on the Timberline Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgevue is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Ridgevue was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-46 to Mountain View.

Despite their loss, Ridgevue saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Myra Martinez, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 19 points and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Martinez continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Hollund Miller was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Timberline faced Boise in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Timberline took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boise. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Brave recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Timberline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Ridgevue, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
