Homestead extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Katie Kitch. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Lafayette Red Devils on Saturday thanks in part to Kitch, who had 14 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for West Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Benet Academy on the 27th. As for West Lafayette, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hammond Bishop Noll on the 27th.
