Baseball Recap: Severance Comes Up Short

Severance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 13-8 to the Windsor Wizards. That's two games in a row now that the Silver Knights have lost by exactly five runs.

Tyson Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. Auggie Dominguez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

Severance's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Severance will welcome Thompson Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Severance's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Windsor, they are taking a road trip to take on Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
