Soccer Game Preview: White County vs. Cumberland County

White County is 1-9 against Cumberland County since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. White County will challenge Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, White County put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. They never let Watertown get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. White County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bobcats as they made off with a 5-0 win. It was an even better day for Randy Donis as he scored three goals for his team.

White County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cumberland County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-2.

White County suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Cumberland County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can White County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
