Desert Vista had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Millennium Tigers. Considering the Thunder have won six games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Millennium with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maddison Neal, Annika Jurik, Piper Garvin, and Valeria Valverde.

Desert Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight contests. As for Millennium, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Desert Vista wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Xavier College Prep on the 22nd. Millennium has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mountain View on the 17th.
