Softball Recap: Poynette Pumas vs. Lodi Blue Devils

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waupun, Poynette was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Lodi Blue Devils 4-2. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Pip Lapacek spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
