Cox Mill barely beat South Iredell the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers' defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Cox Mill have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw South Iredell, too.

Cox Mill hit South Iredell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anna Kirkwood, Sophie Holcomb, and SaraBeth Raso.

Cox Mill's win bumped their record up to 7-5-2. As for South Iredell, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
