Basketball Recap: Belton Has No Trouble Against Chrisman

Belton won the last time they faced Chrisman and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Belton Pirates enjoyed a cozy 71-55 win over the Chrisman Bears. That looming 71-55 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pirates yet this season.

Belton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jw Johnson led the charge by going 5 for 11 en route to 19 points and three steals. That's the most points Johnson has posted since back in February of 2024. Jayce Maiden was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.
