On Tuesday, Tome strolled past Avon Grove Charter with points to spare, taking the game 26-11. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Tome has managed all season.

Avon Grove Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gia Hall, who scored six points along with nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Hall pulled down eight or more rebounds.

Tome now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Avon Grove Charter, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Tome won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rising Sun at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Rising Sun presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tome in Maryland (Rising Sun is ranked 58th, while Tome is ranked 214th). As for Avon Grove Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-State Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Avon Grove Charter comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
