Softball Recap: New Rochelle Triumphs

While New Rochelle's victory against Scarsdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huguenots narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raiders 10-9. The Huguenots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

New Rochelle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Scarsdale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Rochelle will challenge Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on May 6. As for Scarsdale, they will square off against Mahopac at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
