Soccer Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

Berry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Myers Park Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Myers Park this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in April.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Myers Park, they pushed their record up to 11-7-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berry will square off against Olympic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berry are facing Olympic at the right time seeing as Olympic are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Myers Park, they will take on Charlotte Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Charlotte Catholic will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Myers Park surely won't give up without a fight.
