Sudan has gone a perfect 3-0 against Abernathy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will challenge the Antelopes at 4:00 p.m. Sudan has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sudan is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since May 2, 2025 on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to Hale Center. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sudan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Provence, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Provence has hit this season.

New Deal hit Abernathy with a four-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Antelopes came up short against the Lions, falling 13-3. The Antelopes haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Abernathy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Sudan, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Sudan was able to grind out a solid win over Abernathy in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 9-4. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Antelopes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
