Volleyball Recap: Grand Junction Comes Up Short

Grand Junction lost against Arapahoe back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sienna Ludlam paced Grand Junction's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ludlam got some help from Haleigh Blaylock and her 13 assists. Finally, Ashlyn Baker kept Grand Junction's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Grand Junction's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Arapahoe, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grand Junction beat the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
