Softball Recap: Loogootee Lions vs. Linton-Stockton Miners
Loogootee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Linton-Stockton Miners, falling 10-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 19-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Brynn Lengacher and Breanna Courter stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lengacher went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Courter went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
