Softball Recap: Tucumcari Rattlers vs. Clayton Yellowjackets

Tucumcari stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Clayton Yellowjackets an 18-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for Tucumcari as they're now sitting on four straight.

Mia Estrada looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Haisley Huffman was incredible, going 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Angel Vasquez was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
