Basketball Recap: Lee Williams Takes a Loss

Lee Williams lost against Prescott last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lee Williams Volunteers had to suffer through a 76-22 loss at the hands of the Prescott Badgers. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prescott was led to victory by Addie Prisciandaro and Bella Abt. Prisciandaro went 8 of 11 on her way to 22 points and four steals, while Abt went 9 for 19 en route to 20 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The game was Abt's sixth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmalynn Little, who posted seven points.

Lee Williams' loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Prescott, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Lee Williams has already played their next match, a 51-25 victory against Mohave on the 6th. As for Prescott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-44 defeat against Flagstaff on the 6th.
