Baseball Recap: Chino Valley Comes Up Short

Chino Valley managed to slip by River Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Chino Valley lost 8-2 to River Valley on Tuesday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dust Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Ryan Lamotte was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Chino Valley now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for River Valley, they pushed their record up to 6-2-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
