First Flight has won three straight games at home, while Holmes has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will host the Aces at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, First Flight got the win against Hertford County by a conclusive 21-6. Considering the Nighthawks have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Aaron Stewart was a standout: he scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. Dillon Francis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
First Flight kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Holmes had just enough and edged out Currituck County 11-10 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Aces have posted against the Knights since April 5, 2022.
Darius Oliver was incredible, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Stallings, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
First Flight's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Holmes, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. First Flight has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Holmes struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
First Flight skirted past Holmes 4-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Nighthawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aces turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
