Football Game Preview: Belding Black Knights vs. Fruitport Trojans

The Belding Black Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Fruitport Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fruitport will be up against a hot Belding squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Black Knights took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-20 victory over Holland. Given the Black Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Dutch are ranked 338th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fruitport got the win against Comstock Park on Friday by a conclusive 35-14. With the Trojans ahead 29-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Belding's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fruitport, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
