Sacred Heart entered their tilt with St. Paul on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for St. Paul, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
