Andrean gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marquette Catholic Blazers. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting 59ers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Andrean walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.

Miah Galambos paced Andrean's offense, picking up 11 kills. Galambos got some help from Emmy Ramirez and her 25 assists. Galambos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Marquette Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Andrean wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Lake Central on the 21st. As for Marquette Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Illiana Christian on the 21st.
