Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Hillgrove's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Hillgrove extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Amaya Harris. The Hillgrove Hawks were the clear victor by a 43-22 margin over the Harrison Hoyas on Thursday thanks in part to Harris, who posted 13 points along with eight assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Hillgrove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Harrison, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

Hillgrove and Harrison should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Hillgrove (ranked 34th) will meet Pebblebrook (ranked 317th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillgrove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Harrison (ranked 54th) will meet South Cobb (ranked 303rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
