Volleyball Recap: Central City Bison vs. Aquinas Monarchs
Central City won the last time they faced Aquinas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bison came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bison as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
Sydni Homolka paced Central City's offense, picking up nine kills. Homolka got some help from Tayllen Lee and her 13 assists. Ellie Graham controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
When it comes to explaining why Aquinas lost, don't look at Marissa Miratsky. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and one assist.
