Baseball Recap: Maricopa Comes Up Short

Maricopa lost against Casa Grande back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Cougars, falling 8-2.

Maricopa saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Maricopa's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Casa Grande, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Maricopa by a score of 15-7 on Thursday.
