Carlmont is 9-1 against Woodside since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Scots will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Carlmont will be strutting in after a win while Woodside will be coming in after a loss.

Carlmont barely beat Hillsdale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scots put the hurt on the Fighting Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Scots haven't had any issues with the Fighting Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Carlmont was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Woodside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Half Moon Bay.

The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-18, 25-15.

Carlmont's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Woodside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything went Carlmont's way against Woodside when the teams last played back in September, as Carlmont made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
